About Us

Sertoma is an acronym for “SERvice TO MAnkind” and is an international organization that’s been in existence for over 100 years. The Sarasota Club has been in existence since 1956.

Sertoma’s primary service project is assisting the more-than 50 million people with speech, hearing and language disorders.  Sertoma also sponsors community projects to promote freedom and democracy, to assist youth and to benefit a variety of other local community needs, as identified by individual clubs.

Sertoma Sarasota is a member of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce as well as the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance.

About Sertoma International

Sertoma Club’s International Headquarters is located at 1912 East Meyer Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, 64132. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Central Standard Time. A professional full-time staff is dedicated to the organization’s administration and provides services to members, clubs, Districts and Regions.
